beautiful cinque port of Sandwich, Kent. We personally select all of the
cottages we have to offer and regularly inspect them to ensure they are

Ramsgate’s main attraction is, undoubtedly, its award-winning sandy coastline.
The beautiful beaches provide many opportunities for sunbathing, swimming or
just playing in the sand.
The town has one of the largest marinas on the English south coast. You can
watch the boats from Ramsgate’s Royal Harbour relaxing on the waterfront in one
of the continental style cafes and bars. Pleasure boat cruises frequently leave
the harbour cruising the local area while keeping an eye out for the commonly
spotted seals. Browse the variety of local shops or the market which comes to
town every Friday and Saturday.
Nearby Broadstairs is known as the ‘Jewel in Thanet’s Crown’. Take a walk
through the quirky side streets which offer a range of restaurants, cafés and
independent shops while the town’s main beach, Viking bay often has special
events and activities for children to enjoy. Dicken’s week in June, celebrates
the life of one of Broadstairs most famous residents. You can see Dicken’s
summer home ‘Bleak House’. Broadstairs Folk Week in August, is an immensely
popular festival where every nook and cranny of Broadstairs is crammed full of
music and dance.
